On-site acoustic measurement

In short. With an acoustic measurement, we determine how long sound reverberates in your space, per frequency range. It forms the basis for a well-founded solution and the baseline for checking the result afterwards.

What we measure

  • The reverberation time per octave band, with emphasis on the speech range (around 500 and 1000 Hz).
  • At several positions in the room, so the result is representative.
  • The dimensions, materials and furnishings that determine the acoustics.

When a measurement makes sense

  • For larger or complex spaces.
  • When there is a target value, for example in a specification or for a classroom.
  • To show the effect after installation (follow-up measurement).

How it works

  1. On-site appointment

  2. Measurement at several positions

  3. Processing and calculation

  4. Discussion of the results and advice
