Acoustic panels are specially designed to absorb sound waves and so reduce reverberation in a room. Sound enters the panel and is converted into a small amount of heat in the mineral core, instead of bouncing back.

Acoustics is about the sound within a room: reverberation and speech intelligibility. Sound insulation is about sound travelling from one room to another. We include sound leaks between rooms in our advice; for noise from neighbours or heavy-duty sound insulation, we refer you to an insulation specialist.

The time it takes for sound to drop by 60 dB after the source stops. The shorter it is, the calmer the room and the clearer speech becomes.

No. They reduce the echo in your room, but do not stop sound travelling between rooms.

Online you will find products that look the same at first glance, but there is a big difference in quality. We use a mineral core that genuinely absorbs sound, combine it with a durable textile finish and a sturdy frame, and have developed a user-friendly mounting system. Thin felt sheets or decorative panels look acoustic, but absorb little.

Yes. Our panels are available in 44 felt colours. During the demo we show you the samples, so you can choose the colour that best suits your interior or corporate identity.

Yes, with an acoustic photo panel. It absorbs just as well as a standard Stillr panel and in principle costs the same as a panel in a fabric colour.

For larger spaces such as canteens, gyms and multipurpose halls, there is the S-panel: a more affordable 120 × 60 cm version, upholstered in Texture, a sturdy synthetic fabric available in various colours. Like our other panels, it is installed by our own team.

Installation is quick and easy. With our flexible mounting systems, the work is often completed within a single day.

Yes, you can. Our panels are easy to install thanks to the flexible mounting systems. During a demo we can assess together whether the installation is simple enough to do yourself. If you prefer professional installation, we will gladly take care of it. S-panels are always installed by us.

Yes. We are happy to schedule installation outside your opening hours, so your business can stay open as usual.

Yes. We are happy to schedule installation during the school holidays, so lessons can carry on as normal.

As a rule of thumb, we use about 1 m² of Stillr panel per 4 m² of floor area, a ratio that has proven itself in numerous previous projects. During a free on-site demonstration we give you an accurate estimate; for large or complex spaces, we calculate the right quantity.

Stillr offers good value for money. Thanks to our efficient production process, we keep costs low without compromising on quality or design. For smaller budgets, such as schools and sports halls, we also have suitable products. You will find a price overview in our brochure.

Yes. An initial on-site consultation with demo panels is free.

For an in-depth study with measurement and report – for example for a complex space, a public tender or an architect – we work with different service levels, from a short memo to a full study. Feel free to ask about our options.

If you let us know within five working days of installation that you are not satisfied, we will first look for a suitable solution together. If you are still not satisfied, we will refund your investment and collect the products.
